Candidate Profile: Peter Camejo

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 7:27 pm

Last year, Peter Miguel Camejo, was Bill Simon’s best hope to split the Davis vote. This time, he’s trying to help Schwarzenegger or McClintock win. As an extra plus, he’s trying to steal MEChA-Man’s separatist thunder by reintroducing his Hispanic middle name, which was conspicuously absent from last year’s ballot.

It will come as no surprise that Mr. Green’s agenda consists of knee-jerk liberal positions across the board, most of which have nothing to do with the environment. Here are a few gems:

Understatement of the Day

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 9:24 am

Today’s Orange County Register has this to say on Cruz Bustamante’s separatist organization, Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA):

Some members of the group, MEChA, believe that the southwestern region of the United States was stolen from Mexico and that they should fight to see the land returned.

Well, that was informative. Maybe tomorrow the Register will tell us that some blacks consider the N-word offensive, some Popes have been Catholic, some members of the CPUSA believe in the tenets of communism, some bears crap in the woods, and some members of the Ku Klux Klan believe that the white race is superior to other races.

Candidate Profile: Garrett Gruener

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 7:02 pm

Daniel Weintraub has a profile of his own on Garrett Gruener, the only unknown candidate to dump invest $750,000 of his own money in the race. Gruener also has a blog which, unlike those of most of his competitors, allows comments. He also had the good sense to use Typepad instead of Blog*Splat, so he can’t be all bad.

Candidate Profile: William Tsangares

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 4:00 pm

“Republican” candidate William Tsangares is another moonbat with $3,500 to burn and wayyy too much time on his hands. Like Willie Brown, Tsangares is already trying to pre-call Governor Schwarzenegger. No indication what this self-described “businessperson” would do if MEChA-Man got elected instead.

Be sure to read Mr. Tsangares’s statement attempting to justify this precall; it’s a doozy. Here are the lowlights:

Candidate Profile: Robert Cullenbine

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 6:20 am

Think of this guy as Larry Flynt, minus the novelty and the charm. Robert Cullenbine admits he’s not qualified for governor, and doesn’t even want your vote, but has declared himself a candidate anyway simply to give himself an excuse to sound off. His web site contains nothing but incoherent rants about how all proponents of the recall are right wing kooks, how Davis shouldn’t be recalled because he “has commited [sic] no impeachable offense,” and how it is “unethical” to vote yes on the recall or for anyone other than Cruz N-Word in the successor election. One of his most eloquent arguments against the recall is “Come on. Be serious.”

Check out Bob’s web site out just for laughs. If you really want to be a bastard, consider voting for this idiot, just to spite him.

Arnold Back in the Lead?

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 11:34 am

Contrary to the recent L.A. Times poll, which does not take Bill Simon’s departure into account, this more recent poll indicates that Schwarzenegger has an 11-point lead over Bustamante. Heh.
