Judgment Day
Well done, California voters. You just fixed half of what’s wrong with Sacramento. The other half will just have to wait until November, 2004.

Don’t we open Boxer season now?

That too.

Aren’t y’all afraid that we will wake up in the morning and learn it was just a fever dream, and it is actually Bustamante who won by a landslide tonite? :-)

No. We didn’t get a runny nose at a Schwarzenegger rally.

No, although I do not rule out the possibility that a week or two from now we’ll wake up and wonder what on earth possessed us to elect the Terminator as our new Governator. He’d better not grope anybody in Sacramento.

Looks like the Bengal tiger just got castrated. What’s next for the white-haired kitty? Aren’t Siegfried and Roy looking for a replacement in their litter?

Actually, there’s a few things we can do now. A fair method of reapportionment needs immediate attention if voting in November is to have any real meaning.
Other things to do immediately: How about putting Arianna in charge of the DMV? Waste not, want not.

In this case, want not. Annoyingarianna is one of the few human beings capabable of making the DMV even more arrogant and even less responsive to citizens than it already is.
