BFL Roundup
Some of our detractors say all right-wing bloggers think alike. Not so. This BFL roundup should make it clear that we are all individuals who hold a wide range of views on every issue under the sun. Today’s hot topic: Kos.
- Left Coast Conservative describes Kos as a nutball.
- The Angry Clam argues that Kos’s idiotic and libelous statements are typical of the left.
- In a similar vein, Zachariah thinks to the extent that Kos’s kotzing leaves a bad taste in the mouths of decent liberals and non-liberals alike, it is a good thing.
- The Daily Pundit encourages readers to write to politicians urging them to boycott Kos.
- Patterico asks if the left will have the guts to denounce Kos.
- The Other Xrlq doesn’t defend Kos, but finds it classy that liberals do.
- Aaron, by contrast, finds liberal defenses of Kos lame.
- Michael Williams wonders aloud if Kos has as little respect for his life as he exhibited toward those of the murdered contractors.
- Peter Sean Bradley curses Kos in Gaelic.
- Baldilocks, Accidental Verbosity and Lopsided Poopdeck all commend John Kerry for dumping Kos.
- McGehee gives Kos a dose of his own medicine and says “screw him.”
- Tonecluster links to a post that takes Atrios to task for going too easy on Kos.
- Cobb describes Kos’s statement as a monumental blunder.
Sometimes, though, it’s not so much what you say, as what you don’t say, that makes all the difference.
- From the “less is more” department: Elliot Fladen describes Kos’s intemperate and libelous remarks as distasteful.
- PrestoPundit links to a list of recommended blogs that doesn’t include Kos.
- On four separate occasions, Miller’s Time singles out a different group of 12 noteworthy blogs. Out of these 48 blogs – 48! – not one has anything to do with Kos.
- Dale Franks links to an Instaroundup on Kos while going out of his way not to link to Kos himself.
- Little Miss Attila is more interested in Googlebombing the Jews – in a good way.
- Andrew at Pathetic Earthlings would sooner defend airport noise than Kos.
- Infinite Monkeys lets Lileks do the dissing.
- Claire is giving Kos the silent treatment.
- I’ll bet Director Mitch would like to see Kos outsourced.
- Kevin Murphy is more interested in discussing Dan Weintraub’s take on the gas tax than he is in Kos.
- Patrick Prescott would rather quibble about the spelling of the word aeroplane than give Kos the time of day.
- The Patio Pundit thinks aloud about many things, but has nary a thought for Kos.
- Ith didn’t invite Kos to the Gathering of the Blogs.
- Citizen Smash is too busy dealing with Kos’s lackeys in San Diego to have time for Kos himself.
- Mulattoboy would rather be wrong about terrorism than right about Kos.
- Breaker, Feste and Bryon Scott give Kos the ultimate snub by ignoring him completely and fisking Air America instead.
- The Shark won’t even acknowledge Kos’s existence unless he moves to Seattle or starts a newspaper.
- If Kos wants the Irish Lass to stop ignoring him, he’ll need to dress up like a chicken.
- The Right Coast would rather blog about grammar gods and clods than about Kos.
- Jeff Doolittle is more interested in Janet Jackson’s breast than in Kos.
- Molly isn’t wasting her hate on Kos – she’s saving it for her sister, instead.
- The Boi doesn’t think Kos is even worthy of nomination as an honorary homo.
- Howard Owens and Jockularocracy are so angry with Kos they’ve given up blogging altogether, if only for a while.
- On the day Kos delivered his vile comments, Justene was so angry she couldn’t even say his name out loud, and ended up lashing out at me, instead.

One thing I did find out over the Kos bruhaha was that Daily Kos and Mickey Kaus (sp?) aren’t the same person/blog.
Never read either of them, and somehow thought one was the blog name, the other the person.

The igging-Kos part is hilarious. This should henceforth be known as “Carnival of the Bear-Flaggers.”

Xrlq, thanks for doing this.
Honestly, the Kos stuff is so beyond what I am able to tackle. It also becomes tedious for me personally to try to sift through all the left wing bull. I’m glad some people are able to do it. Besides, you guys all do a much better job of it.
By the way, the aeroplane thing was a joke, buy the way!

the aeroplane? I was thinking at the same time something that I found very funny as I sat by myself in my office. I know I had a good chuckle, It may have been close to a real belly laugh. The Problem is I can’t recall what I was thinking? That sucks when that happens.

Interested in Janet Jackson’s breast? I don’t think that’s exactly what I had in mind in my post… Oh well. Thanks for the link anyhow.

Thanks for the roundup! As someone else said, the real bright side of the Kos debacle is that he’ll never be able to run for office now!

Xrlq D.: I didn’t say you were interested in her breast (good God, who is?), only that you were more interested in it than in that little punk Kotze.

XRLQ,
You forgot to include mention of the uberfisking Kos got over at Little Green Footballs!
The following thread is but one of many. :-)

If I may add my descriptor of Koss into the mix, I’ll go with “dirtbag.” Pretty much sums him up.
