Carnival of the Idiotarians, Part Duh
I just got through the long comment thread on Patterico’s blog, and its filled with just as much idiocy as Justin’s. Now that I’ve blogged about Nick Berg’s murder too, I suspect the troll-mob will eventually find my site, too. As a general practice, I very rarely delete or edit other people’s comments, except at the clerical level (e.g., correcting formatting errors or obvious typos, deleting duplicate entries, etc.). However, I can’t stress enough that no one owes you a forum, and I reserve the right to ban you, fisk you, or take any other steps I may choose to make you wish you had kept your yap shut. And if you post the kind of crap here that I heard from any of trolls I mentioned from Justin’s post, or the stuff Patterico got from RetinaBlack, Jamonery*, Miki, Diabolique, Monica, the letter “T,” Skip, Sotos the Greek, Burnic, Polly Manchester or Ray D., I’ll probably end up editing the comments themselves to make you look even stupider than you are. That is all, you have been warned.
*All this reminds me of one of the few things I do miss about Movable Type: comment permalinks. Perhaps someone can write a hack to add that functionality to WordPress?

Do trolls travel in flocks? I think they are better described as mobs.

Duh is right. That’s what I get for blogging when I’m in a hurry. Oh well, both are fixed now.

Well, I hate to take advantage of the title to the post, but you do have comment permalinks. They’re those little time stamps after the @ sign.

Yours do seem to be broken. Email Lisa at Just a Girl and she’ll help you, probably for free.

I take that back, they do work, just not after you’ve made a comment.
