As Hugh Hewitt mentioned during his show today, allusions to Nazi Germany are never, ever, warranted as political fodder to describe any aspect of American politics.
I have to say I agree with Hugh. Until such time as cattle cars rumble through American towns, hauling innocent people to death camps, any comparisons to Hitler, SS, Gestapo, Brown Shirts, et al, should be reckoned as lunatic ravings.
We all just conspire separately on a self-paced, self-regulated basis in between trips to the mailbox to collect our checks from Richard Mellon Scaife.
