I don't plan on going on the attack anytime soon, but then again, you never know; I wasn't planning on the events that led up this this hate-fest, either. If it happens, oblique references to York will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Tentatively, I'm inclined to allow such references IFF they are essential to the attack on the target troll. If you can find a way to attack said target just as effectively without mentioning York, please do.

This includes any uses of York's name as a verb, at least for now. If the word "yorking" ever catches on in the blogosphere the way "fisking" did, I'll revisit my policy at that time. For now, shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker and tits are in, but York is out. Then again, even that word may acceptable in some contexts, e.g., to criticize politics of the City of York, England; similarly, a reference to an unsavory aspect of New York politics or culture as "new yorking" would also be acceptable. So I guess it's one of those wobblers, like "prick." (It's okay if it happens to your finger. Yes, you can prick your finger, but don't ...).

I will NOT comment about Mark York here.

Just a clarifying question. If you ever do post about another lackluster loser trolling about and being banned for obtusely posting idiotic commentary, can we reminisce about previous trolls we've lampooned, including Mark York?

Or would that violate the York-free zoning?

Also, can we refer to such commentary as "yorking", or is that RIGHT OUT?
