At first, I thought it was a parody, a set up for a joke. I heard the article first on Rush. I had a totally stunned reaction. That’s freedom??? Is that what life is worth? I live on Staten Island – it’s a great place to raise a family – I even have a tire swing dangling from an elm tree – the kids loved it as will the grandkids too – never cared for Costco – the extra large jar at the supermarket on sale is usually more than sufficent – reading the article didn’t make me angry but incredibly sad – and then very happy for I realized how rich I really am.
