Since my above quote I checked out the Captain’s Quarters link.

So Phil Parlock told his daughter, “Your brother’s going to rip the sign from your hands and tear it up … then you turn on the water works, k? We need a good photo-op.”

At this point I doubt the Parlock family staged the event (though my view on the matter is subject to change as events warrant).

Finally, has anyone sourced that photo of the Parlock family used to suggest that the union thug is actually one of Phil’s sons? I hope the photo didn’t originate in Abilene. :-O
