Arnold and Guns
As I suspected, Arnold has turned out to be a mixed bag on the gun issue, neither the gun freak his action hero persona suggests nor the raving anti-gunner some have made him out to be. On the one hand, he signed Ass. Member Paul Koretz’s .50 BMG rifle ban, AB 50. On the other, he vetoed the two other truly awful gun bills on his desk, SB 1140 (exacerbating California’s “safe” storage law) and SB 1152 (mandating ammo registration).
