U.N. Out of North America

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 2:30 pm

Or at least the part that is the United States. Kofi Annan’s U.N. has done a lot of horrible things to date, but flying the flag at half-mast for Yassir Arafat takes the cake. What will they do for Osama bin Laden when he finally bites the dust?

Thanks to Captains Quarters reader Robert Tirado for the link.

I considered flying my flag at mast-and-a-half.

  2. Joel Thomas Says:

Well, we have an image of the American terrorist, Andrew Jackson, on our twenty dollar bill. A flag at half-mast is just a temporary thing. However, my Cherokee relatives will be dead forever due to Jackson’s inhumanity.

  3. Patrick Says:

Yeah, and I’m sure most of the men pictured on our currency could have done without the Irish or the Basque so I think I’ll fly my flag at half mast too.

I’m not enough of a history buff to know the details about what Andrew Jackson specifically did to your ancestors, but riddle me this: is he featured on the $20 bill because of such atrocities, or in spite of them? Arafat isn’t being honored for his engineering skills, which I’m sure were impeccable.

We should kick the UN out of New York. They should have the UN headquarters in Paris. It would only be fitting. Never a bigger group of people than hated freedom.

  6. Stephen Says:

YES! Thank you Andrew Jackson, rot in hell you savages. Flying the flag at half-staff, that’s crap.
