Thank You For (Not) Asking

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 9:26 pm

Yes, as a matter of fact, I am more upset about the fact that some bastard murdered ten people in Minnesota than I am about some other bastard trying to murder his estranged wife who is probably brain dead anyway. I’m just not blogging as much about it because frankly, there is no controversy and I have nothing to add. Once the anti-gunnies start trying to make hay out of it as they did with Columbine, I’m sure I’ll have plenty to say then.

UPDATE: OK, maybe I have just a leetle to say now.

UPDATE x2: That didn’t take long.

You may be waiting awhile, turns out that the kid’s grandad that he killed was a Police Officer and he may have used his guns:

“McCabe declined to talk about a possible connection between the suspect and the couple killed at the home, but Red Lake Fire Director Roman Stately said they were the grandparents of the gunman. He identified the shooter’s grandfather as Daryl Lussier, a longtime officer with the Red Lake Police Department, and said Lussier’s guns may have been used in the shootings.

Stately said the shooter had two handguns and a shotgun.”

Interesting, thanks! I doubt the Sarah Bradys of the world will let a minor detail like that get in the way, but time will tell.

[...] blood of the dead (and they will – though I don’t know how), I have nothing to add. Xrlq seems to concur.

No doctors have ever diagnosed her as brain dead.

And I know how this sounds, but the mass murder in Minnessota is relatively inconsequential as far as the rest of the nation is concerned. The former case presents a danger to the rule of law (as opposed to men, which is what judges are).

    Schiavo Links

I have not posted much about the Schiavo case. There are other blogs out there doing so. Below are some links. FindLaw has posted all of the opinions filed in the case here Outside the Beltway has consistently good posts…
