But you have to forgive the Cashier. The bills had Thomas Jefferson’s picture on them, I mean who the heck is that? Next thing you know someone will be trying to pass an $100 that doesn’t even have a picture of a President on it. I mean “Come On!”

A little perspective here, please: had this been Fry’s Electronics they would have just dragged the guy out back to the dumpsters, sand stomped him to death. Best Buy is a customer service dream in comparison to them!

Crazy story, but I’m waiting for a bit more info before I buy into it. I worked at Best Buy for a long time, they do not arrest easily. I’ve seen a hell of a lot of very clear crimes go by because corporate is so shy. If the guy got arrested it would be over this caution and with cops supporting the $2 bill is counterfeit theory.
I think more info is needed in this case.
