Coffee Update

[Source: damnum absque injuria] quoted: I shoulda listened to See-Dubya. The thermal carafe on Mr. Coffee is Mr. Crappy, as it made me a nice, cold pot of coffee this morning. I returned it and got a similar model, sans thermos, at Wal-Mart.

I've gone through 3 different Mr. Coffee's, and they all sucked big time. Have a DeLonghi now, works awesome.

The similar model you listed, I have I love it. Got it at Target for $50. One warning, watch the temperature setting for the heat pad, it gets pretty hot.

The wife wanted one of those expensive Krups (at about $150). We got it and it lasted about a year. Mr. Coffee's been going strong for about a year and a half.

Funny how they can make a thermal carafe that will keep your coffee warm, but not a thermal carafe that both receives your brewed coffee and keeps it warm.
