Well, sure. He successfully undermined the party. If I were to successfully go out and convince a client to not buy my employer’s stuff, i’d be fired, and rightly so; how is this different?
If this were the Euroweenie Party, I might be inclined to agree. But wasn’t the EU supposed to be some great capitalist venture that if anything undermined the principles of socialism, and certainly did nothing to advance them?
