I used to be really good about announcing new BFL members on this blog. Then I got so-so about it, and these days, I do a really crappy job of publicizing new members. However, I have to make an exception for our newest member, who is new to blogging but a veteran “blogger” in more traditional fora. Let’s all give a warm welcome to Tammy Bruce!

Tammy Bruce’s book _The New Thought Police_ is one of only about eight or nine specifically political books I’ve read. It was very enlightening, especially the parts about the O.J. trial and how national NOW decided to support the wife killer because he was black (Bruce was head of the L.A. chapter of NOW at the time).
