That&#039;s the difference between liberals and conservatives; we vote according to ideas, which tends to preclude unanimity on most issues.  On our side of the aisle, &quot;I&#039;m going with my union&quot; doesn&#039;t pass for a substantive argument on the underlying issue any more than &quot;unions oppose X so it must be good&quot; does.</description>
