  1. A Senior Administration Official Says:

… but there were FEWER bad smog days than last year, and the year before that … funny how that’s never the headline. Take a look at the simple graph we made here to see the GOOD news …

  2. Hugo Says:

I have to wonder what the inside of my lungs look like after years and years of running in Pasadena, where old smog comes to die…

  3. Dana R. Pico Says:

Oh, good show! Shall we assume that you have done your best to contribute copious amounts of partially burned hydrocarbons to the atmosphere?

Alas, here in the Pocono Mountains, all that we have are falling leaves to pollute the atmosphere.

  4. Pat Patterson Says:

Let’s see, LA and LA County seem to do everything possible to drive out the businesses that make smog. Those businesses leave the area but the smog stays. AQMD will have us all either on bikes or in choo-choo trains eventually.

  5. Doc Rampage Says:

Yeah, yeah, you LAers are always going on about how you’re the best city in California, yada, yada, yada.

Well I think San Fransisco does a great job of generating polution, we just have a big disadvanage of being situation on a narrow peninsula. The wind blows the smog away before we can get any good clouds of it going.

On the bright side, San Francisco pollution probably contributes some unplesant conditions to Oakland. You’ve got to give us points for that.
