I’ve always wondered why they schedule these executions at such inconvenient times. I think it was either number 999 or 1,000 who was executed at like 2 in the morning. Curious, in that morbid sort of way.

I think it’s probably because it seems inhumane and unfair to make the prisoner wait until morning before they off him. No way is he going to be getting any rest, so why not get it over with?

A last-minute appeal to the 9th Circuit Court (perhaps the most liberal court in the known universe) failed. I sorta wonder why the press puts all the onus on Scrooge McArnold.
