Liveblogging the Non-Riots, Day 3
From Day 1, Baldilocks has been coverning the nonexistent riots that haven’t rocked South Central L.A. since the non-redeemed non-author and Crips non-founder Stanley “Tookie” Williams was executed Tuesday morning. Today was Day 3 of the non-rioting, which has spread as far south as Irvine, resulting in millions of guns, jewelry, VCRs and plasma TVs not being looted. Will keep you posted if anything changes. Breath-holding not recommended.
UPDATE: There may, however, be some rioting to report over in Austria, a country with a long tradition of making heroes out of mass murderers. Like all too many other embarassing stories, this one sounds better in the original German. Kevin is not impressed.

Our local (Swiss) paper also covered the story, with pictures of a protest banner over the stadium’s name calling Arnold a murderer.
No mention of Tookie’s crimes or his gang’s legacy.

I am pissed off by the government’s non-inaction in this non-crisis. Why don’t they have riot police out there with dogs, forcing people from their homes out into the streets into large angry non-mobs?

1) If the National Guard wasn’t all in Iraq, this non-event would have never happened!
2) Maybe we should nominate the current LA gang leaders for the Nobel Peace Prize, seeing as how this non-riot was quelled so fast.
