   OK, X, you’ve got me. What is so bad about what Muller did?

   The allegation that Malkin doesn’t do all her own posting has been floating around for a while and Muller saw what he thought were postings that were at odds with her travel schedule. He challenged, she replied (and convincingly so), it’s over…. at least until someone else comes up with what they think is evidence of her not doing her own posting.

   Isn’t that what the blogosphere prides itself on doing, questioning what others - bloggers, as well as MSM - put out? I hope you’re not suggesting that Malkin is due a pass from scrutiny.

   Granted, this isn’t as sexy as the allegation that NBC is looking to provoke a race event at a NASCAR race or that the LA Times manipulates its coverage to make conservatives look bad, but not everything the blogosphere is going to look at is going to rise to that level.

   No one should get a pass for anything. I don’t like bloggers making idle speculations about the MSM, either. It’s not a question of how “sexy” the allegation is, either, but of how credible it is. If Muller had produced any legitimate evidence Malkin was not writing her own posts, that would be one thing. He didn’t, so the analogy to NBC trying to provoke a “news” incident is not valid - we have emails showing that they did.

   Thanks. I banned myself from VC because of too many mind-polluting posts like Mr. Muller’s. This “does Michelle Malkin write her own posts” merde is about at the same level “stay away from girls because they have cooties”.

   Absolutely. That’s why I found the one girl who did not have them sixteen years ago and have avoided all others since.
