Idiot Agent Shoots Self in Foot, Again
This time, only figuratively. Not only was DEA Agent Lee Paige the only person professional enough to carry the gun he shot himself with, apparently, he’s also the only person professional enough to sue over it, either. Then again, if I did something that dumb and ended up on Jimmy “Kimbel” Live, I’d probably sue too.

Funny thing is I’d have never known the guy’s name if he hadn’t filed the suit.

Maybe the link will work but it’s no big deal. Trackback certainly doesn’t.

If embarassment was his concern then he wouldn’t have filed this lawsuit. This coverage just throws gasoline on what was a smoldering issue of public notariety.
This guy is lucky to be working at all. He should have been treated just like anyone else who discharges a weopon in a school. He should have been charged under applicable criminal statutes, and at minimum should have become deskbound at the ATF.
He no doubt violated state laws by his action, but also all rules of common sense and gun handling. Anyone foolish enough to believe the weopon they are holding is unloaded should still be kind enough not to point it at anyone. The audience was visiably nervous when he pulled out the next weopon, and quite rightly so.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING MIKE GRIFFIN?

Can this guy possibly be filing a lawsuit? If so, he should be fired, anyway, for loading live ammo into a handgun in a classroom. What the hell was he thinking?
Kids, for gosh’ sakes… in the room… Him with a handgun, loaded. What a fruitcake. Then, he sues? Why? Because of his idiocy? YES! God Bless Constitutional Handgun Ownership, but bring down the irresponsible, arrogant, para-military police officers who are ‘above the law’, running redlights, using emergency lights to avoid traffic, are belligerant at traffic stops, and who think God wrote laws to suit them and their whims. They do not deserve to wear badges, but should go and find jobs more suited to their level of intelligence. Namely, dogcatchers. Leave the honorable, respectable and respectful, true-hearted policemen, sherrifs, and HP on the force, and get rid of the military-minded idiots who think they are in a daily war with decent citizens. Most of us, (news to you dolts), are law-abiding citizens. You treat us like criminals, even at minor traffic stops. You stop our kids for no apparent reason, stating that you “were looking for a car that answers this description”… How many times will you use that excuse?
I grew up thinking and believing that law enforcement officials were on our side. As I grow older, I find that I am lumped together with miscreants, scofflaws, criminals, and ogher lawbreakers. Check my record. I don’t have one. I obey the law, but am looked on as some suspicious character when I simply greet a deputy or policeman. So, I’ve begun to develop the same attitude you all expect. I do not trust policemen, sherrifs, HP offices, or any other official who claims to be on the ’side of the law’; that is not true. You are on the your own side, against the public, and against decent people who simply try to live in peace.
Fine. You define the framework of war against the people who simply want to live in peace, respect the laws, and honor our country and its heritage. You are short-sighted, thick, and without respect in the public view. Your are, indeed, “gods with guns”, as I’ve so heard it so aptly put.
Grow up, treat citizens with respect, and you will receive the same. However, treat citizens with suspicion, and that is exactly what you will receive as well, along with rebellion and resistance.
