		<description>Good heavens!  I voted in the Virginia Democratic Presidential Primary in 1988 -- yet was a delegate at the 1994 state Republican convention (trying to get the Senate nomination for Jim Miller over Oliver North.)

Of course, in the 1988 Democratic Presidential Primary, the nomination already having been decided, I voted for Jesse Jackson, just to spite Mike Dukakis, and to guarantee the Rev. Jackson a speaking role at teh 1988 convention, knowing it would hurt the Democrats!  :) 

I wonder if Mr Miller failed in his attempt to win the nomination because they &lt;i&gt;knew&lt;/i&gt; I had voted in a democratic primary.</description>
