Chris Green Says: Since thats in the ballpark of W’s approval rating, I’d have to say “no”.
A recent poll found that 30% of Americans believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy involving the Bush Whitehouse.
I have to believe it's not the same 30+% in every case. 1/3 think for themselves, 1/3 believe what the MM tells them, and 1/3 believe anything, thus 67% of Canadians believe in the 9/11 conspiracy as well.
Reason: Americans have access to media truth by just switching channels; Canadians who are too lazy to hunt the Blog sites digest the same media pablum day in/day out.

>Is there any question so wacky that one-third of the population will not answer it in the affirmative?

Did they ask political affiliations? 15 years ago, I'd have bet most of the 33% were rightwing loonies. Today, most of them would be voters for Ned Lamont, or San Franciscans.

Republicans have shown themselves too inept to have pulled off any of these conspiracies.

One-third of the American people agree that my entirely logical, supportable theory that George Bush is a reptilian shapeshifting alien is being sabotaged by the obviously ridiculous, planted theory that hidden Nazi UFO bases in Antarctica were set up next to the entrance of the Hollow Earth with the cooperation of the Gray Aliens. Also, that we should nuke the entire Middle East into a parking lot and require smokers to wear distinctive clothing.
