This whole witch hunt by the right against Webb really frightens me.

More than anything, its gonna make me vote for the man. The tenor of some of the comments I recieved for putting this post up - highlighting what i think is the most Pro 2nd Amendment pronouncement that has ever come out of the mouth of any major political candidate - is really frightening.

I fully expect that 3/4 of my readers are gonna drop off the face of the earth for even suggesting I'd consider a vote for Webb - and the constant shouts of "A vote for Webb is a vote for Pelosi" are not only wholly uninformed and misplaced, but project a rather dimwitted view of reality.

Of course, I will probably end up holding my nose and voting for Allen anyway. . . . but the moonbats on the right are only driving me further away from Allen.

What principles has Webb betrayed in order to run, and what do they have to do with the Second Amendment?

Probably because Allen has a proven track record, and because Webb has betrayed his principles in order to run.
