Leave Germany Alone
I’ve beat up on Michelle Malkin a lot lately, so this time it’s only fair to give credit where credit is due. Don’t blame the German government for the crapweasels who are trying to sue Don Rumsfeld for war crimes. They have nothing to do with the German government. That country’s universal jurisdiction law may or may not have been a good idea, but it is not aimed at the U.S.
Memo to Drudge: it was mighty white of you to lose the siren. Now lose the misleading headline, as well.

Maybe there’s not as much to the story as I first thought… but I’m still ticked that the Bush Administration and the Pentagon took the wimpy “we can’t comment because the lawsuit hasn’t been filed yet” approach. Stunt or not, the world needs to be told that our guys are off limits and going after them is going to piss us off… with severe repercussions for any two bit country that goes down that road.

It’s not the first time Rumsfeld’s been sued. The ACLU sued him, too. I may not like Rumsfeld, but I hate the crapweasels even more.
