Won’t You Take Me To, Horneytown
Relative to Virginia, NC is a bit shy on silly names, but there are some nice exceptions.

Find a realtor you can deal with yet?

I’m jealous. How far is it from Mayberry?

Anwyn: yeah, in fact we signed a contract on a house to close 1/31 (not in Horneytown, alas). Now comes the hard part: selling the house we already have in the land of gooches.
NK: Dunno. Where’s Mayberry?

Mayberry = Mount Airy
It should be about 50 miles.

Good, re house. Get some land for a range?

Nah, only about an acre this time around. It does back up to a pasture, though, so I suppose I could probably get away with a little plinking here and there if no one was watching.

I hope you do get a chance to do some plinking.
But just as a reminder, tomorrow night is your best chance to make some serious noise without complaint!
Happy New Year!
PS: I couldn’t find it on Mapquest, but down here in the southern part of the state is a little community called “Big Lick”.

I can beat that. Kentucky has an area called Big Bone Lick State Park.
