World’s Roughest IQ Test
These jokers purport to offer a free online IQ test. I’ll save you the trouble. Answer 10 general knowledge questions having nothing to do with your IQ. Then give it your cell phone number, and it will send you a PIN. If you enter the pin and check the box claiming to agree with the “terms and conditions” you didn’t read, your IQ is 50, unless you screw up and get the PIN wrong by accident, in which case it’s 0. If you say “screw that” and refuse to enter the PIN, your IQ is at about 80. If you had the good sense not to try the time-wasting test in the first place, it’s 100.

One of the early IQ tests had a “pain threshold” component to their test.
The test giver would increase the amount of pain one step at a time until you gave up.
The quicker you cried uncle, the “smarter” you were deemed to be.
Obviously, it had flaws (some people are just tough, driven, committed, etc. and that shouldn’t count against them).
