Time to Place Your Bets
Which of the following songs will be played the most at campaign events featuring Gov. Palin?
- “Barracuda,” by Heart.
- “Sarah,” by Starplane, Jefferson Airship, or whatever the hell else they were calling themselves that week.
- “Barracuda,” by Heart.
- Anything from Miss Congeniality.
- “Barracuda,” by Heart.
- Any Monty Python song sung by Sarah’s long lost brother in law, Michael.
- Not “Barracuda,” but only because the Wilson sisters take a cue from Boston and Petty Tom and get pissy.
- “Baby’s On Fire,” by Sammy Hagar, because (1) she is and (2) no one else will let Republicans use their songs.
- “‘Barracuda,’ and if the Wilson bitches don’t like it, they can sue my near-perfect ass.”

Nothing from Van Halen?
She named her most recent kid “Trig (Something) Van Palin” in tribute to the band.

Good point. Do cover songs count? “Pretty Woman” is the obvious choice, unless the band could be persuaded to regroup and record a new version of “Jamie’s Crying” with the name “Hill’ry” substituted for “Jamie.”

Trig Paxson Van Palin.
And don’t forget about Jackson Browne when naming idiots who don’t want Repubs to use their stuff.
