My Loss, Your Gain
Ever since June, 2007, I’ve had one more house than job. My house in Virginia is still on the market, but with a new realtor and a lower price. It’s a steal.

Damn, thats right near where my dog trainer is (Kents Store, VA). Nice house. It would be $900k+ up here. Not sure what the market is in the Richmond area, but I would have thought it was still relatively strong compared to elsewhere in the state (Loudon).
Good luck.

So, you’d probably think that the 100 year old Victorian I bought for $87,500 is a bargain, right?

Is it customary in that neck of the woods to omit the lot size and square footage of the house in its listing? That sure wouldn’t fly out here (Silicon Valley). Also, why is there a reference to an MLS listing that isn’t hotlinked?

Good point, I’ll ask the agent to add that info. FYI, it’s a 2814 square foot house on a 3 acre lot.
