Sullivan has degenerated into nothing more than an hysterical attention whore. He doesn’t care how his laughable posts are Fisked. There’s no such thing as bad attention.

Now, don’t misunderstand me: I do NOT claim that Sullivan was ever that interesting. It’s ironic his latest hissy fit targets NRO, without whose constant linking he would scarcely have achieved whatever traffic he attracts. Apparently those young Manhattanites thought the prospect of promoting a “gay libertarian” who occasionally took conservative positions was too cool to pass up. Probably they imagined it might even get them into cool places in NYC. Heh.

Sullivan’s descent into utter madness appears to have begun about five years ago, when he decided the only real issue was gay marriage and anyone who opposed it must needs be wrong on every other issue. No matter one’s opinion of his previous work, since then he’s become a complete waste of time.

Pointing out his fanatical falsehoods remains pointless as he lost any sense of shame long ago. It merely adds fuel to the fire in a Greenwaldian sort of way.

So, no more Golden Glutes Awards for Andy, mmmkay?
