		<description>I don&#039;t remember hearing anything about 9/9/99, but FWIW, 999 has a significance in Britain that 9999 does not.  Maybe nothing will happen on 9/9/9, either, just as nothing happened in 9/11/1999, 9/11/00, 9/11/02, etc.</description>
