Err, you do realize that instead of a fiscal stimulus, Germany and France argue for regulating the Holy Shit out of worldwide financial markets, right?

I knew France was arguing for that, but didn’t know Germany was. Even so, I’m still rooting for their position as the lesser evil. If it’s a given that we’ll either spend into hyperinflation or regulate the hell out of the financial industry, the latter bell is much easier for future administrations to un-ring than the former.
