What SHOULD be done is to lessen the impact of boneheads' speech on the rest of society. How, you ask? Glad you asked. By implementing the society in Robert Heinlein's "Starship Trooper", by making it a requirement that anyone that wants to vote or hold an elected office needs to serve an honorable term of service in the armed forces, military and non-military.
