Twitter is Evil
The Bloggess (h/t: Robb Alllen) has the proof. Meanwhile, I’d like a little grammatical help from you, the reader. Which of the following is the most appropriate past tense for tweet?
- twate
- twote
- tweeten
- twitten
- tweetered
- [Censored]
- Other (specify)

#3 “tweeten” is verb present tense
#7 “tweeted” would be past tense

She will tweet, she tweets or she is tweeting, she tweeted. The others I’ve only seen in quizzes. Not being a twitterer, though, I could be wrong. Why are they twitterers rather than twits?

Personally, I like “twote.”
