Runner-Up ‘Hat of the Day: Mike Lafosse

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 8:57 pm

Did I say I missed comment permalinks from Movable Type? I lied. WP does support comment permalinks; I just hadn’t figured them out yet. Now I have, just in time to point out this idiot who was not only too stupid to spell or construct a coherent sentence, but also violated the “pretend Israel-bashing has nothing to do with anti-Semitism” rule:

why do they hate us? billionsGIVEN to the jews… our presence in saudi… our lack of backbone in terms of fairness reguarding isreal’s occupation this bullshit war and thats just for beginners

Nice work, Mikey. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Friday Cad Blogging

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 9:22 am

Acidhole won’t be getting any more links from me, but FYI, here’s what he had to say about the gaggle of bloggers who criticized him for his racist crap:

Hmmm… it seems that I have been de-linked and excoriated by many bloggers because I used the forbidden “N-word” on two posts, back-to-back.

Um, no. Using the n-word was bad, but the worst thing about the first post was the content of what he said. Substitute an innocuous term like black, Negro, African American, or whatever for every instance of the word nigger, and you’ll end up with a post that is every bit as racist as what he wrote, and only marginally less offensive.

Another Blogtard

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 6:47 pm

Forget all my nasty comments about Bill Quick. That guy may be a blogtard – and he is – but he’s a friggin’ genius compared to Rob “Acidman” Smith. In this infamous post, Acidtrip drops eight* gratuitous n-bombs, recycles every racist stereotype in the book, and then tosses in a few legitimate statistics just to make the rest of us look like racists by association, should we ever quote them in the future. Several other bloggers have already taken this cretin to task for his idiotic, racist, borderline psychotic ramblings, so I shan’t waste your time fisking every line of this idiot’s hallucinatory rant. Instead, I’ll take you straight to the most blogtarded paragraph of all:

I am sick and tired of listening to the n*****s whine. You’ve had 300 years to make a go of life in this country, and you’ve f****d up every chance ever handed to you. Got-Dam! Don’t call me a racist. ADMIT THE GODDAM FACTS.

Read that again, and again, and again, until the full implications of Acidhead’s message sinks in. In this Acidhole’s world, blacks have had three hundred years to “make a go of life in this country.” Yup, ever since millions of rich black African tourists arrived here on cruise liners in 1704, they’ve had one opportunity after another handed to them on a silver platter. I mean, seriously; for the first 160 years they were here, rumor has it they enjoyed full employment! Boy, talk about an opportunity squandered.

On the other hand, my first (and, I hope, last) public delinking is one opportunity I will not squander. Acidhole, you are the weakest link. Goodbye.

*Technically, the word appears 10 times, but I “only” count the 8 instances in which he actually uses the word, not the two instances in which he refers to the word itself.

Only Courts Can Make Laws, Dammit!

Filed under:   by Xrlq @ 9:05 am

I’m done posting on the merits of the Schiavo-Schindler controversy. However, this article on the late entry of the Antiamerican, Criminally Liberal Union (ACLU) into the controversy raises a pseudo-legal argument that I find incredibly dumb, and one which, if accepted, will have repercussions that go far beyond Terri Schiavo herself or even the right to die/kill movement as a whole. Funny-money quote:

By substituting his judgment for the judgment of the courts, the governor “set aside the role of the whole judicial system,” [FL ACLU Director Howard] Simon said, warning that a precedent has been set for Bush and legislators to write laws gutting any court decision they don’t like.

Translation: if Terri’s Law stands, legislatures around the country will be allowed to make laws! Sometimes, they might even amend them! Who knows, maybe if they’re feeling really naughty, they might even repeal a statute or two!

Here’s a question for the ACLUeless: if you hacks honestly believe your silly argument that statutes become holy scripture as a soon as a court rules on their meaning, then where were you guys a few weeks ago, when Congress voted swiftly to write a law gutting ta decision that they didn’t like?
